We’ve spent some time thinking about how best to communicate the change of focus in our blog. Our blog content until this point (and that’s a lot of blog articles written since 2014!) has been learner focused, but after thinking about it for some time, we’ve decided to shift our focus and write content directly for the people who are our first point of contact in companies. Invariably, this means an audience of readers from the learning and talent management world.
Here at CWL we prefer medium to long form communication over the more meme-based content of social media where people seem to spend more time arguing without listening and trying to share the news first so they can be the news hero!
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram do help us connect, but they’re still not great places to really develop ideas best expressed through longer form articles. Don’t get us wrong, we will retain the structure that our readers have enjoyed; of articles that can generally be read in less than 10 minutes.

This is a new beginning for us, and from this moment on, our blog is a place where we can share ideas with forward thinking learning and talent management professionals. There are so many interesting topics that we are super excited to write about, from the future of remote working to how cognitive research can help us learn better, trends in digital learning and how to ensure staff are supported in this ever more digital world.
